ibd Training for Deliver Partners
Working with ibd as a delivery partner
ibd Business Advice Group Ltd is an Approved Delivery Centre for IOEE Awards with training providers in all regions of England and Wales.
ibd works with training providers who have a remit or desire to deliver business training, business support and/or develop their learners’ skills in enterprise, entrepreneurship and employability.
There are many advantages to collaborating in this way, for instance to:
- assist you in developing the job or business-ready skills of your learners or employees
- move existing provisions to IOEE Awards, the UK’s the UK’s standards setting and awarding body for business enterprise and business support
- attract a wider range of learners through the growing range of qualifications and courses for 14-16s, 16-18s, adults, apprentices, businesses and more.
Having IOEE Awards courses in your educational offering enables training providers to offer cutting edge enterprise learning that is of immense value in a business environment.
Organisations offering IOEE Awards business training through ibd have a competitive advantage over other private or HE/FE providers. In addition to our gold standard ‘The ibd Advantage’, we’ve outlined 12 reasons why you might wish to partner with ibd Business Training.
Why partner with ibd Business Advice Group
In brief, a key benefit for the organisation in offering IOEE Awards to its learners in partnership with ibd is that the courses are, quite unusually, delivered by tutors who are experienced business people with successful career records running and supporting SMEs and a vast amount of practical knowledge to share with the students.
On our side, we handle enrolment, course delivery, student support and assessment, and work with you on your part, which is to provide a training room, attract suitable students and access government funding as necessary.
ibd have 12 regional Tutor Managers who work closely with organisations to ensure we enrol the right learners on the right courses with the right expert tutor support, including helping to identify suitable marketing and funding opportunities.
Access to ibd associates’ ongoing practical support is available for those looking to start their own business or who wish to embark on an apprenticeship (since ibd are approved advisers/business mentors for IOEE’s Start Up Loan scheme) and partners with Impact Apprenticeships.
Who we work with
Delivery Partners we work with include (but are not restricted to): councils, LEPs, business development units, job centres, PRIME, and SMEs themselves, schools & colleges whose purpose is helping people develop entrepreneurship/enterprise for starting/running a business and as key employability skills.
Delivery Partner organisations should ideally:
- be able to identify, market and supply students (with some assistance if necessary)
- be funded, or have access to funding, to provide such training for business enterprise and business skills development
- be able to provide a suitable training room.
While we are finding there is good interest and demand from potential providers and students for courses, funding for tuition fees is a big challenge for most. Identifying relevant streams of funding can be key to who we can work with.
To help you decide if IOEE Awards and ibd Business Advice Group are a good fit for your goals & aspirations as a training organisation, we have put together an Information pack as well as a set of our most frequently asked questions.
The simplest way to move forward is to contact us to discuss your needs.
You can phone 08448 223660 and ask to speak to the Tutor Manager for your region or register interest using our online survey at:https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JTCT7PK.
This collects your contact details including city/county, as well as your specific interests in IOEE Awards.
The Tutor Manager for your region will be happy to follow up to:
- arrange a day and time to speak
- discuss how the IOEE Awards might best meet your requirements
- outline the process for registering students, delivery and assessment
- talk through possible funding models
- address any remaining questions.
Process for enrolling learners
Once the ibd delivery partner as supplier of students has matched students needs to courses, and discussed eligibility with the Tutor Manager, they can start to receive applications.
Once there is sufficient demand for enrolments, timetables can be set and advertised, and the taught component of the course delivered.
All students doing a IOEE Awards course require a Unique Learner Number (ULN). Your students information must therefore be forwarded to ibd Business Advice Group Ltd for our own records and in order to issue each learner with a IOEE Awards ULN (assuming they do not have one already).
